Russian Keys

Depending on the size and nature of your meeting, Russian Keys Ltd can provide professional Russian-English and English-Russian interpreters for simultaneous or consecutive interpreting in Russia and New Zealand.

We have vast experience and are familiar with wide range of vocabulary in various sectors (business, banking, finance, agriculture, medicine, diplomacy, engineering, technology, environment, sports, academic studies etc).

Simultaneous interpreting is ideal for multilingual meetings, events with a large number of participants and for the broadcasting media.

Should you need a simultaneous Russian-English and English-Russian interpreter in New Zealand or Russia we shall be happy to provide one. Our professionals interpret the speech as it unfolds, i.e. simultaneously, into the other conference/meeting language. Our interpreters can work with or without special equipment (please provide equipment should you want the interpreter to use it). Please note that this form of interpreting requires high levels of concentration and interpreters will therefore need to have a rest break every 45-60 minutes.

Consecutive interpreting is suitable for meetings with a big number of people, presentations and lectures, or for formal occasions such as dinners, or when it is not possible to install technical equipment.

Our interpreter can sit at the table with the delegates or on the platform next to the speaker and interpret the speech into Russian or English once the speaker has finished speaking. The interpreter takes notes to give an accurate rendering of the speech which may be delivered in sections.

Other types

In addition to simultaneous and consecutive interpreting we can provide

- phone interpreting,

- whispering (when only one or two delegates require assistance, the interpreter can sit next to them and whisper into Russian/English),

- liaison interpreting (a type of consecutive interpreting but, instead of conveying the message of one speaker it involves conversations among many speakers),

- sight translation (instead of working from an oral text, it starts with a written one. This type of interpreting is more frequently used in hospitals and courts).
